Tier Group Pricing Workflow
Follow this suggested workflow to use Tier Group Pricing.
1. Create segments to represent logical groupings of parts that share common part attributes which should be priced together in a ramp-based or step-based price alignment strategy.
You can reference Group Price Analysis to review data by pricing-specific groups.
2. Use the SKU page to create custom SKU attributes and assign values.
*
It is recommended to use the 15 SKU custom fields on the SKU page. As an alternative, you can create custom attributes if you need more than 15 SKU attributes.
3. Populate the IPCS_TIER_GROUP_ATTRIBUTE table and IPCS_TIER_COMP_ATTR table per your implementation specific requirements.

Contact your system administrator for assistance.
4. Use the Tier Groups page to define Tier Groups.
5. Run the Tier Group Pricing Simulation process.
6. Use the Results tab of the Tier Group page to review the results.
7. You can repeat steps 4 – 6 until you achieve the desired results.
STEP 4: Maintain the tier group ramp
STEP 5: Maintain the tier group steps
Step 9: Sequence tier groups
Once you start to use tier groups in pricing policies, the order that the tier groups are listed on the Tier Groups page is important. It is possible for a SKU to belong to more than one tier group. However, a SKU can only be processed by the AutoPilot within one tier group. Therefore, when a SKU belongs to more than one tier group, it will be processed within the tier group that is listed topmost in the list of tier groups on the Tier Groups page.
