Field names with an asterisk () are included in the default display setting.
Field
Description
ASL Method
Identifies the method by which the decision to stock or not stock was made. Valid entries are:
• External Off indicates that the SKU was forced off of the ASL
• External On indicates that the SKUwas forced on the ASL
• Optimize indicates that the scenario was free to make the ASL decision
*
There may have been constraints, overrides, or other settings that forced a stocking or not stocking decision
Criticality Multiplier
The criticality factor of the SKU that can be used to influence the optimization selection. For the availability model, this also impacts the availability calculation.
Cubic Meter Required
The space required to stock inventory at this location. It is calculated as Stock Maximum x Cubic Meter per Unit as defined on the Parts page.
*
The Cubic Meter Required label can be changed by modifying the value of the SPACE_CONSTRAINT_TYPE global setting. The value of this global setting is displayed in columns and fields as follows:

Customer Order Size
The effective quantity in which customers use SKU in an Inventory Optimization model that has Use Line Fill Rate enabled for the scenario. Customer Order Size incorporates Customer Order Size Average, Customer Order Size Standard Deviation, Line Safety Factor and configurable logic for resupply locations. When Use Line Fill Rate is enabled for the scenario, performance is measured by the ability to satisfy complete orders instead of single units.
*
The default value is one (1).
Customer Order Size Standard Deviation
The variability of the quantities requested for individual customer use.
Echelon
The hierarchy level of the supply chain.
Exclude MEO
This is a setting determined by the system. The SKU is excluded from the optimization set segment, but it is required for model completeness. The calculation evaluates all of the SKU in the optimization set, identifies the set of root locations for those SKU, and then identifies all of the descendants for those roots. This is the set of all SKU that are needed to derive all of the forecasts and backorders. Any SKU that is in this model, but is not included in the optimization set segment, has Exclude MEO set to Yes. These SKU are fixed at their production stock levels.
*
In a non-external scenario, SKUs with Exclude MEO set to Yes have ROP, Minimum ROP, and Maximum ROP all equal to the Production ROP.
SKUs with Exclude MEO set to Yes are not included in Exception Criteria for Inventory Optimization scenarios.
Is On ASL
An indicator of whether the part is on the Authorized Stock List (ASL).
• Yes indicates that the part is on the ASL
• No indicates that the part is not on the ASL
Is Optimized
A system generated indicator of whether a SKU is participating in a service group.
• When set to Yes, this indicates that the stock level is planned by Inventory Optimization.
• When set to No, this indicates that the stock level is either from a SKU Constraint, SKU Override (including non-stock), or from production when there is no SKU Constraint or SKU override.
Is Repair Optimizable
A flag to indicate if a SKU participates in Repair Optimization.
• Yes indicates that the recommended repair activity is optimized by Repair Optimization
• No indicates that all the repair forecast will be assumed to be repaired and the initial repairable inventory will be counted as serviceable inventory based on the current inventory configuration
Location Description
A physical or virtual place that stocks parts. A location can also be a geographic area where prices are set using the same methodology and currency. Locations are defined on the Locations page.
Objective Cost
The expense incurred to deliver the Objective Benefit. The Objective Cost Criteria selection for the scenario on the Scenarios page defines the input source that is used for the Objective Cost, which is either Part Cost or Optimization Cost.
*
This is the denominator in the Bang for Buck calculation.
Original Fill Rate
The original fill rate value, populated only when an override to the Fill Rate is applied. This field preserves the original Fill Rate value for reference.
Original ROP
The calculated ROP value before Post-Optimization overrides were applied to any of the following fields:
• ROP
• Safety Stock
• Stock Maximum
This field preserves the calculated ROP value for reference.
Original Safety Stock
The calculated Safety Stock value before Post-Optimization overrides were applied to any of the following fields:
• ROP
• Safety Stock
• Stock Maximum
This field preserves the calculated Safety Stock value for reference.
Original Stock Maximum
The calculated Stock Maximum value before Post-Optimization overrides were applied to any of the following fields:
• ROP
• Safety Stock
• Stock Maximum
This field preserves the calculated Stock Maximum value for reference.
Original Wait Time
The original wait time value, populated only when an override to the Wait Time is applied. This field preserves the original Wait Time value for reference.
Parent Location
The location directly above the location associated with the part when traversing up the location hierarchy.
Part Cost
The unit cost of the part.
Part Critical
The criticality code for the part used for segmentation. The criticality codes can be managed on the Part Criticality page.
Part Description
The label or title that describes the part. Defined on the Parts page.
Part Family
A user-defined way of categorizing or grouping parts. For example:
• Electrical
• Mechanical
• Planner A
• Planner B
• Time-Phased Safety Stock
Part Families are managed on the Part Families page.
Part Name
The given name for the part.
*
Fields Part Name 2 – Part Name 5 are additional name fields in support of multiple languages.
Part Relation Type
Defines if the part is a Prime, an Alternate, or a Replaced part.
Part Type
A way to categorize parts, defined on Part Types page.
Planner Code
An identifier that is used to describe different planners or groups of planners. First, the Planner Code is defined on the Planner Code page. Then parts are assigned a Planner Code, and the Planner Code is assigned to a planner. The Planner Code can be used to assign certain planners or types of planners with the responsibilities of planning for specific parts/locations. For example, a planner that is assigned Planner Code AB is responsible for planning all parts with a Planner Code of AB.
Pool Location
The pooling location.
Pool Parameter
The name of the pooling scheme as defined in the Pooling Parameters page.
Production Reviewer
The user ID that reviewed the record.
Region
The geographic area to which a location is assigned. Regions are defined on the Regions page and can then be assigned to a location on the Locations page. Regions can be used for aggregation and other configurations such as segmentation.
Repair Cost
The cost to repair parts throughout the network that are used at the location. For example: Location A has a stock max that will be supplied as follows:
• Repair 5 units at Location A with a Repair Unit Cost of $10.00
• Repair 5 units at Location B with a Repair Unit Cost of $100.00
• Procure 2 units of new buy
Therefore the Repair Need Cost for Location A is $550, and the Repair Need Cost for Location B is $0
Repairable
Indicates if the part can be repaired. This setting is managed on the Parts page.
• Yes indicates that the part can be repaired.
• No indicates that the part cannot be repaired.
Review Date
The date the record was reviewed.
