Repair Optimization
The Repair Optimization feature recommends a mix of using existing good inventory, repairing existing repairable inventory and repair forecasts, and procuring new inventory. It is an enhancement of Churn Control, where repairable inventory is separated from good inventory.
When the Repair Optimization feature is enabled, you can specify a repair budget and any repair activity will respect the repair budget.

The Order Plan processes do not incorporate the Repair Budgets.

Use these instructions to enable the Repair Optimization feature:
1. Set the IO_ENABLE_REPAIR_OPTIMIZATION global setting to true. This currently only works with the availability model and the repair budget is for the period only.

3. On the Service Group Parameter page specify the repair budget values.
