Pricing Policy Workflow
The following is a high-level workflow for working with pricing policies.
1. Define a group of SKUs to be priced using segmentation or part lists.
2. Create the Pricing Policies by using one of the following methods:
◦ On the Definitions tab of the Pricing Policies page
◦ On any of the tabs on the Group Price Analysis page
3. Order the pricing policies on the Pricing Policy page.
4. Simulate the pricing policy results.
5. Review the pricing policy simulation results and change the pricing policies as needed. Repeat this cycle as necessary.
6. Apply the pricing policy simulation results.
7. Modify new price recommendations if necessary.
Follow these steps to create/modify pricing policies.
1. Open the Pricing Policy page.
2. Add or edit a pricing policy.
3. Define the remaining settings on the Definition tab.
4. Change the pricing policy data set
5. Add price setting rules to the pricing policy.
6. Order the price setting rules.
7. Add event rules to the pricing policy.
