Pricing Policies Page

The Pricing Policies page lists all of the pricing policies that are defined for the selected policy folder.
There are two sections on this page.
• The Changes Introduced/Financial Impact section shows aggregate policy financial results for all pricing policies within the folder. Click to expand the content of this section. The pricing policies that are included in the selected policy folder are listed below the Changes Introduced/Financial Impact section.
• The list of defined pricing policies.
These are the actions that can be performed on this page:
Action
Description
Policy Folder
Select a policy folder from the dropdown list. The page is updated with the pricing policies that are associated with the selected policy folder.

Access to policy folders is granted to individual users on the Policy Folders page. Only policy folders that the user has been granted access to will appear in the dropdown list.
Configure
Click this button to display the list of configuration options. Make your selections and click Apply. Options are:
• Layout — Select the type of layout you want for the Pricing Policies page:
◦ Classic — Displays the aggregated policy information in sections under the main Changes Introduced/Financial Impact section.
◦ Tabbed Charts — Displays the aggregated policy information on tabs.
◦ Separated Charts — Displays the aggregated policy information in sections under a main Changes Introduced section and a main Financial Impact section.
• Chart View — Select if you want to see relative (new vs. effective current) charts, absolute (new vs. current) charts, or both relative and absolute charts on the page.
Click Apply to close the pane and save the page configuration.
Run Type
Select one or more Pricing Policies from the list and click this button to display the pop-up window where you can run a pricing policy simulation.
Move To
Select one or more Policies from the list and click this button to display the pop-up window where you can move the selected policies to a different Policy Folder.
1. Select a Policy Folder from the dropdown list.
2. Click Move.
Select one or more a pricing policies from the list and click this button to open a pop-up window where you can set the parameters for applying the results. Options are:

Description
Replace Existing Reasons
Select the checkbox and specify the reason if you want to replace any existing reasons.
Replace Existing Comments
Select the checkbox and enter a comment if you want to replace any existing comment.
Click this button next to pricing policy to view the details of that pricing policy.
Click this button next to a pricing policy to open a dropdown menu of actions. Options are:
• View Journal Entry — Select this option to open the Pricing Policy Journal page, where you can manage the journal entry for the selected pricing policy.
