Enable the Balancing Feature
Use these instructions to enable the Balancing feature in your installation of Servigistics.
1. Configure the following global settings:
2. Set the Enable Receiving Balancing field on the Ordering Parameters page to one of the following options:
◦ Balance also for downstream need (recommended, because it balances the entire need of a parent location, including the remaining needs of the children)
◦ Balance only for own need (not recommended because need is too limited)

This option is not available when using the Time-Phased ROP Order Policy.

3. Set the balancing parameters on the Balancing Parameters page.
