Common Functions
The layout of the application is comprised of three sections:
1. The Header, which contains the navigation controls that appear with every page.
2. The Toolbar, which contains controls that run processes, filter data, and configure the content displayed.
3. The Work Area, which contains controls that apply to individual records on the page.
