Promotions Page

Promotions is a special pricing functionality that generates promotional prices for a specific duration of time.

A SKU can only belong to one promotion.
These are the actions you can perform on this page:

Description
Promotion Folder
Select a promotion folder from the dropdown list. The page is updated with the promotions that are associated with the selected promotion folder.

Access to promotion folders is granted to individual users on the Special Price Folders page. Only promotion folders that the user has been granted access to will appear in the dropdown list.
Click this button to open the Promotion page.
Run Validation
Click this button to run the validation process, which checks if there is only one SKU assigned to the promotion.
• All validates all promotion datasets.
• Selected validates only the selected promotion datasets.

If the Promotion does not pass the validation check, it is because there is more than one SKU associated with the promotion. To continue, you must first resolve the multiple SKU assignments and then run the validation process again.
The single SKU validation check is bypassed for an uploaded SKU in a promotion. For example, if there are two promotions (one that is uploaded and another that is pending validation), with an overlapping SKU in both of the promotions, then the validation would pass.
After the validation run is complete, the results are displayed in the Validation Report pop-up window.
Click this button to open the view-only version of the page.
Click this button, next to a promotion, to open the Promotion page.

Uploaded promotions cannot be modified. You can only modify the promotions for which you have modify rights.
