Create or Edit an Optimization Set
Use these instructions to create or edit an Optimization Set.
1. Enter Optimization Set in the Go to box to search for the page, then select the page from the resulting list of matches.
2. Do one of the following:

4. (optional) Manage the assignment of service groups, exception criteria, segments, and summary segments to the optimization set.
a. Use the Service Group tab to assign service groups. Select a service group in the Available box and click 
to move the service group to the Selected box.

• A service group can be assigned to more than one optimization set.
• Service groups can also be removed. Select a service group in the Selected box and click
 to move the service group to the Available box. |
b. Use the Exception Criteria tab to assign exception criteria. Select criteria in the Available box and click to move the exception criteria to the Selected box.

• An exception criteria can be assigned to more than one optimization set.
• Exception criteria can also be removed. Select a criteria in the Selected box and click
to move the exception criteria to the Available box. |
c. Use the Segments tab to assign segments.
▪ To assign a segment, select the segment in the Available box and click to move the segment to the Selected box.

d. Use the Summary Segment tab to assign summary segments.

• A summary segment can be assigned to more than one optimization set.

5. Do one of the following:
◦ Click Create to store the new strategy set and return to the Optimization Set page.
◦ Click Save to store the updated information for the optimization set and close the edit window.
◦ Click Cancel to close the window without saving the optimization set.
