The Order Plan process allows replenishment source locations to pre-order for the current need of a Trigger Point Ordering Policy replenishment child location, up to the stock maximum, even though the child location did not create a replenishment order today. Using this feature is recommended to prevent shortages when multiple child locations have replenishment need on the same day and there isn't enough inventory to cover the orders all at once.
