The cost of the time a customer waits to have their demand satisfied that can be set in decreasing priority on the SKU, on the Part, on the Service Group Parameter, or on the Inventory Optimization Planning Parameter. If the Minimize Stockout Cost checkbox is selected on the Service Group Parameter, default stockout costs are set to 1 by the system and may be user-defined in the Reference fields to ensure SKUs have associated cost and are eligible to participate in the stocking algorithm.
