Planning Parameters
Planning Parameters page that are used to calculate the Authorized Stocking Lists and inventory levels for each stocking location planned by Servigistics. The Planning Parameter values are based on your management goals, and are one of the tools used to implement those business goals and service level objectives, which ultimately determine the overall inventory value.

Planning Parameters can be assigned to one or more Segments. When you start to use Planning Parameters, it is recommended to assign a Planning Parameter to a single Segment, keeping a 1–1 relationship between the two.

Assume you want to include all critical parts on the Authorized Stocking List. To do this you would:
1. Create a new Planning Parameter called Critical Parts.
2. Change the value of the Demand Accommodation to 100%.
3. Assign the Critical Parts Planning Parameter to the Critical Parts segment.
