Ordering Compliance
Configure Order Compliance
The Ordering Compliance feature analyzes user overrides by comparing them with the Supply Planning recommendations to measure the effectiveness and accuracy of the planning recommendations made by Servigistics.
*
Ordering Compliance can only be run on a Snowflake platform.
Based on the projected needs and recommended requirements that Servigistics has calculated, the planner can chose to follow the set of directives provided by Servigistics, or modify the order recommendation. The Ordering Compliance feature provides metrics that can be used to examine the effectiveness and accuracy of Servigistics planning. It can help you to understand whether the planner is adhering to the recommendations in Servigistics, or how often a planner overrides what the system is suggesting. For example, reviewing the Ordering Compliance output can help you:
• Improve compliance to the system recommendations
• Reduce shortages and excess
• Increase part availability an customer service levels
• Identify deviations from standard orders, highlighting areas where planners may not be following recommendations
• Suggest corrective actions to improve adherence and ensure consistent compliance
• Track key performance metrics to assess the compliance over time
• Provide guidance to OEM for return eligibility and expedited delivery requirements
• Strengthen relationships with dealers
• Incorporate dealer information and expertise
