The order sequence in which the Multi-Attribute Groups are listed on the Multi-Attribute Groups page is important when you have SKU overlap across Multi-Attribute Groups.
For best practice, avoid Multi-Attribute Group SKU overlap when possible by carefully designing segment criteria per Multi-Attribute Group. When a SKU must belong to more than one Multi-Attribute Group, then the most important Multi-Attribute Group should be ordered higher in the list than the other lower priority Multi-Attribute Groups.
When executing the Multi-Attribute Group OTF process, SKU overlap across Multi-Attribute Groups does not matter and Multi-Attribute Groups sequencing does not matter. Multi-Attribute Group sequencing only applies when using Multi-Attribute Groups in pricing policies.
1. Enter Multi-Attribute Group in the Go to box to search for the page, then select the page from the resulting list of matches.
2. Select the Policy Folder that contains the Multi-Attribute Groups you want to resequence.
3. Click . The Change Sequence pop-up window opens.
4. The Multi-Attribute Groups are listed in order from highest (top) to lowest (bottom) priority. To change the order, select one or more Multi-Attribute Groups and do one of the following:
Action
Description
Move the selected rows to the top of the list.
Move the selected rows up one row on the list.
Move the selected rows down one row on the list.
Move the selected rows to the bottom of the list.
5. Click Save.
6. Before you use Multi-Attribute Groups in the Pricing Engine AutoPilot process, run the Synchronize Database AutoPilot process to execute the Effective Multi-Attribute Group Waterfall. The pricing policy manual simulation process does not depend on the Synchronize Database process to execute the Effective Multi-Attribute Group Waterfall.
