A SKU Is Stocking Less Than Expected
In this example, we are assuming that the scenario calculation was run and that it completed successfully. When the results were being reviewed on the SKU Summary page, the SKU appears to be stocking less than what you expected. Use the steps in this workflow to identify what may be causing less than expected stock levels.
1. Start by looking at the SKU on the SKU Summary page.

Open the SKU Summary page in the application

1. What is the value of the Exclude MEO field for the SKU? The value of this field is system generated.
▪ If the value is Yes, then the SKU has the production values.
▪ If the value is No, then you need to continue investigating with step 1b.
2. What is the value of the Is Optimized field for the SKU? The value of this field is also system generated.
▪ If the value is No, then the SKU may have maximum constraints or overrides that are prohibiting stocking.
▪ If the value is Yes, then you need to use the Stocking Policy page to continue investigating. Click Action Button and select Stocking Policy next to the row of the SKU data.
2. Now you are viewing the SKU on the SKU Summary tab of the Stocking Policy page.
1. On the Performance Summary container, does the SKU have a forecast? Review the values of these fields:
▪ Customer Period Forecast
▪ Total Period Forecast
▪ Pipeline Forecast
▪ Pipeline Forecast Variance
If the forecast values appear normal then continue investigating with step 2b
2. Use the Check for Maximum or Fixed Constraints or Overrides workflow to check for constraints and overrides.
