Procurement By Vendor
Vendor programs are ways that vendors can offer their customers buying incentives, usually for specific types of inventory.

The Procurement By Vendor feature is a tool planners can use to review and approve procurement, repair, and replenishment order recommendations with the purpose of meeting specific vendor programs that offer discounts. The vendor program minimums are not enforced, but they do provide planners with a quick overview to determine if they can obtain vendor discounts by simply purchasing a few more parts.
When a planner is making order decisions, it is helpful to group order actions by vendor program. Orders are organized by type - procurement, repair, and replenishment, and balancing. That way, the planner can see the orders recommended by Servigistics and gain immediate visibility into what other actions could be taken to obtain the discount. Planners can see the running total of approved procurement actions to see how close they are to meeting purchase agreement limits.
The SHOW_PRICE_BREAKS_IN_MENU global setting must be set to 1 to use the Procurement By Vendor tool.
