Dynamic Price Buckets
*
This category is only available for pricing threshold , pricing final threshold, auto upload, and pricing review rules for pricing policies.
In Servigistics, you have the ability to set up to 20 prices for a SKU using price stream values. The Dynamic Price Buckets reference point category lets you use these price stream values as reference points for pricing threshold, final threshold, auto upload, and pricing review rules.
The Dynamic Price Buckets reference point category lets you set the value for any price stream value using the dynamic price of the price stream value. The dynamic price is the price for the price stream value that was output from the previous rule in the pricing policy. For example, if Dynamic Price Bucket is set to Standard Price in the pricing threshold rule, then the standard price that was output by the previous rule in the policy, which was the Strategy Code (Main) rule, is used for pricing the price stream value.
When setting up the rule, select the price stream value from the drop-down list that you want to use as a reference point. Only price stream values with an assigned value will display in the drop-down list.

Part Kit Relationships use IPCS_PRICE records based on PP.PriceDate.

Pricing Methodology Used
Part Kit - Current Prices
For a part defined to be a part kit, this is the total price of all components in the kit BOM. This total also accounts for the quantities for each part in the kit. If the selected part being processed by the engine is not a kit, then this reference point rule will not apply.
Price Alignment
If part kit components are not contained on the pricing policy or are not price active, they will not get a recommended price and will not be included in the kit pricing decision. If no component prices are available, the kit price reference point will be null and no new kit price will be recommended.
Price Adjustment Factors
Price Adjustment Factors reference points look up the price percentage adjustment factor for the X group to which the part belongs and applies it on top of the part's current price to get a new recommended price, where X = part family/class/type/line.
