Overview of Simple Price Alignment
Simple price alignment aligns prices between parts that are closely related. Businesses can use simple price alignment to synchronize prices so that closely related parts have the same (or at least similar) prices.
Examples of simple price alignment relationships include:
left hand/right hand parts,
same parts but different colors,
different quality grades,
different finishes, and
price leader to price follower relationships.
Servigistics uses Leader/Follower Pricing, Simple Group Pricing, and Group Step Level Pricing to support a simple price alignment strategy. Each of these simple price alignment methods are fully independent of each other.
