Approving Pending ASL Management Recommendations
If ASL management recommendations are being generated by Servigistics, then you need to approve them, ultimately determining what goes on or off the ASL.

Follow these steps to process pending ASL management recommendations:
1. View ASL Management Recommendations on the ASL Management page. Ensure that the
Pending tab is selected. This tab lists the parts that Servigistics has determined should/should not go on the ASL.
Note that the Pending Change column reflects the recommendation action to be taken. When Pending Change = Added, Servigistics recommends the SKU to be approved for addition to the ASL. When Pending Change = Deleted, Servigistics recommends the part to be approved for removal from the ASL.
4. Lock records as necessary so that the AutoPilot does not modify your changes.
5. Select the recommendations that you want to approve. Click the
Approve icon

on the toolbar. The page refreshes. Note that when an item is approved to go on the ASL,
ASL Item changes to Yes; when an item is approved to be taken off the ASL,
ASL Item changes to No.
To disapprove a recommendation, select the records you want to disapprove and click the
Disapprove icon

.
6. Click the
Save icon

to save your changes.
