Performance Analytics and Intelligence
Performance Analytics and Intelligence (PAI) is a reporting platform for Data Historicization, Performance Measurement, Root Cause Analysis, and Intelligence for the Service Supply Chain. The Dashboards are built using Intellicus and can be accessed through the Servigistics main menu.
As the amount of data increases, the processing time to assemble the data into reports also increases. This can impact the response time of your system. With PAI, reports that require a larger volume of data are processed on a different server, thereby eliminating the drain on production system response time.
The Dashboards that are available with PAI are categorized into one of two types:
Dashboard Type
Description
PAI Foundation
These dashboards do not require a large volume of data and can be processed quick enough to not impact the Servigistics production system response time.
The benefits of using PAI Foundation dashboards include:
Enhances the Intellicus and Insight Embedded Business Intelligence that are available with Servigistics
Enables data and use cases to be integrated with Servigistics data and workflows
PAI Advanced
These dashboards require a large volume of data and need to be processed on a separate server. The Servigistics data is exported to a server, where the data can be processed quicker with no impact to the production system response time.
PAI Advanced dashboards can monitor activities like the following:
Performance — forecast accuracy performance, planner productivity and workload analysis, supplier performance, service level and financial performance
Analytics — time phased Dashboards on performance, trend analysis, measurements by key part attributes
Intelligence — root causes of service loss, factors driving over-forecasting and under-forecasting, effectiveness of overrides
Additional benefits of using PAI Advanced include:
Enables processing and summarizing of big data (Tera/Peta byte range)
Provides complex reporting without affecting the production performance of Servigistics
Provides big data architecture for historicized data that is in terabytes
