Actual Fill Rate
The fraction of demand that is met through immediate stock availability which includes incoming host orders expected to be available today, where the Effective Available Date is today. This is calculated when the Servigistics Planning Analytics Generator AutoPilot process runs. The Actual Fill Rate is measured in the following two ways:
Key Points
These are the key points in relation to how the demand of different parts are considered when the Actual Fill Rate is calculated:
The Demand Detail from Servigistics is used to calculate the Actual Fill Rate for each day.
The Actual Fill Rate is calculated for the following:
Parts not in the chain
Alternate parts in the chain
Top Most Parts in the chain
Actual Fill Rate is not calculated for Replaced Parts.
These quantities are rolled up to the first non-replace parent (Alternate or Top Most Part) for down-chain replace parts:
Demand
On Hand
Today’s On Orders
All of the demand from Replaced parts is rolled up to the parent regardless of the Roll up Demand Percent setting on the Part Chain Details in Servigistics.
The On Hand quantity of the Top Most Part is not used for demand fulfillment of Alternate parts. Therefore:
The Actual Fill Rate of the Top Most Part could be higher than really observed.
The Actual Fill Rate of the Alternate part could be lower than really observed.
The Actual Fill Rate can be recalculated for the history date if backdate demand is updated within a past number of defined days (x days).
*
The past number of defined days (x days) can be configured using the servigistics.analytics.fillrate.horizonDays property in the AutoPilot.properties file.
