Time Gate
A way to include strategies of increasing the Schedule Change Suppression minimum and maximum levels over time. These strategies control whether you will allow orders to be created, cancelled, increased, decreased, expedited, or deferred. They can also set limits on how many days you can expedite or defer an order, or by what percentages they can be increased or decreased. The combination of different strategies based on time and inventory levels is what provides flexibility in suppressing changes to the vendor's schedule.

For example, before you hit Time Gate 1, the vendor may want you to disallow any change to existing orders. Before Time Gate 2, you may select different strategies. And as you go through time, you may allow more liberal changes to occur.
You can add from 1 to 4 time gates.
Time Gates are calculated as follows Last Planned Date + Days + (Lead Time Multiplier * Lead Time)
For this formula, you provide parameter values for Constants (Days) and Lead Time Multiplier.
