Good stock quantities (on hand good, fixed, on order, allocated, backorder) of down-chain parts added to the bad stock quantities of up-chain parts (on hand bad, in repair) when the good stock of down-chain parts must be re-worked before they are usable material. These may be down revisions of the same part or different part numbers that must be upgraded to allow them to be used as functional equivalents of the up-chain part.
