Report Role
A way to define user rights in Intellicus. Report Roles are defined on the Report Roles page and assigned to users on the Users page.
* 
When a template is selected, the Report Role is populated with the Report Role associated with the selected template.
Use these instructions to define a Report Role that can be used by Intellicus to establish user rights and permissions.
1. Do the following in Servigistics:
1. Define a Report Role.
For example: IntellicusPriorityRpt
2. Assign the Report Role to a User.
For example:
▪ User = ReportRunner
▪ Role Name = Planner
▪ Report Role = IntellicusPriorityRpt
3. {optional} Set the OVERRIDE_INTELLICUS_RIGHTS global setting to false.
2. Do the following in Intellicus:
1. Create a role using the following format:
intellicusRole = <Database Role Name>-<Report Role>
Where:
▪ Database RoleName = the database Role Name in Servigistics
▪ Report Role = The Report Role in Servigistics
For example: ARRole-IntellicusPriorityRPT
2. Select System Privileges.
3. Select Access Rights.
4. Save the changes in Intellicus.
