Create a Part Kit

Creating a part kit can be done on the Part Kits page or on the Parts page. Use these instructions to create a part kit:

1. Do one of the following:

◦ Open the Part Kits page, click

and select New Part Kit. The Parts page is opened with the Is Part Kit field is automatically populated to Yes.

◦ Open the Parts page and click

. You will have to manually set Is Part Kit to Yes to indicate that the part is a Part Kit.

2. Follow the New/Edit Parts Page instructions.

Modify a Part Kit

Modifying a part kit is done on the Part Kits page. Do the following to modify a part kit.

1. Open the Part Kits page and click

next to the part kit to be modified.

2. Follow the instructions on the Part Kit page.

Convert a Part to a Part Kit

You can convert a part to a part kit on the Part Kits page. Do the following to convert a part to a part kit:

1. Open the Part Kits page, click

and select Convert Existing Part to Part Kit. The Part Kit page opens.

2. Select the part to be converted.

3. Change the Is Part Kit field to Yes.

4. Follow the instructions on the Part Kit page.
