Maximum Safety Stock
The maximum Pre-Optimization or Post-Optimization value set for the Safety Stock This value can be entered in the following ways:

In general, if there are conflicting maximum values set, the minimum of the maximum values take priority.

You will be asked to confirm any value entered that is greater than the value of the MEO_OVERRIDE_MAX_QTY global setting.
The ALLOW_NEGATIVE_SAFETY_STOCK global setting controls if this value can be negative. The negative Safety Stock constraints and overrides drive the ROP required to yield ROP - rounded(onOrderMean) of the requested value. However, ROP remains floored at -1 and the Safety Stock is allowed to fall below 0.
