Fair Share Priority
An indicator of the priority for replenishment when there are more requests than available inventory and the source (replenishment) location. The processing steps are as follows:
1. If there is not enough stock at the source location, then all field locations requesting replenishment are provided with enough of the part to reach Safety Stock in Fair Share Priority order. This means that the location assigned Fair Share Priority 1 is replenished to Safety Stock first, Priority 2 is second, etc, until all locations (up to 99) are brought to Safety Stock.
2. If there is still available inventory left after bringing the locations up to Safety Stock, the Central location replenishes the locations in priority order until they reach the ROP.
3. Any remaining stock is distributed on the basis of number of Days On Hand, meaning that the SKU with the least gets another part. This value can be overridden at the SKU level.

The Fair Share Priority calculation is an advisory tool. It is not enforced in Servigistics. If the situation arises where the Central location cannot replenish all requesting locations a fair share advisory quantity is recommended.
