Enable Elasticity
Follow these steps to enable the
Elasticity feature.
1. Set the Roll Up Elasticity value on the part.
a. Open the Part Chains page.
b. Select the hyperlink in the ‘# of Parts column that corresponds to a part chain. This opens the Part Chain Details page.
c. Set the Roll Up Elasticity field to Yes for the parts in the chain to be considered when calculating the Elasticity for the Top Most Part.
2. Verify and make changes if required to the following global settings:
