Carbon Tax Rate
The tax applied to the production of carbon as expressed in units that are configured by the
CARBON_MEASURE_TYPE global setting. The
Carbon Tax Rate can be set by
location,
region, or by the system level using the
CARBON_TAX_RATE global setting. The system uses a waterfall approach for determining the
Carbon Tax Rate to apply:
• The value set on the Location is given priority.
• If no value is set on the Location, then the value set on the Region is used.
• If no value is set on the Region, then the global setting value is used.
