Managing Setup Data
Most of the basic data needed for the Servigistics modules is automatically copied from the host system to Servigistics. However, Servigistics allows you to enhance the Servigistics copy of this data to meet any special requirements or to enter any basic data not available from the host.

Ideally, all Setup data should come from the host system. In fact, the typical user will have view-only access to the Setup data. Before maintaining Setup data, ensure that you understand the implications.
