Servigistics 13.1 Release Notes
These are the key highlights for the feature functionality introduced in the Servigistics 13.1 line.
Forecasting
◦ Enhanced SKU Overrides: Greater flexibility for adjusting SKU forecasts to fit various Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) scenarios.
Inventory Optimization
◦ Enhanced Scenario Budget Reporting: Additional time-phased metrics to support SIOP with better visibility into financial and operational projections. Added support for comparing multiple scenarios.
◦ Expanding Scenario What-If Modeling: General availability of What-If Modeling with new capabilities to simulate forecast, price, and carbon tax changes, in addition to SKU data such as lead times, wash rates, and costs.
◦ Inventory Optimization Cost: Introduced the ability to choose the cost used in optimization to achieve financial objectives or minimize carbon impact.
◦ Customer Order Size Calculation: Added an AutoPilot process for calculating Customer Order Size used in line fill rate optimization, with configurable demand streams and outlier management.
◦ Improved User Experience: Location Summary and SKU Summary pages have improved approval workflow, filtering, and column setting.
Supply Planning and Planner Workflow
◦ Plan Intelligence: A new feature on the Interactive Planner Worksheet that provides guidance and suggests best practices and root causes for common planning issues such as resolving shortages, vendor issues, and demand misses.
◦ Order Spreading: Introduces the ability to spread a large order over time before vendor closure to reduce logistical impact.
◦ Backorder Categorization: Added additional subcategories to better identify the causes of backorders, such as vendor delays or under-forecasted demand.
◦ Order Sizing: Improves application of order sizing rules to prevent overstocking.
◦ Calendar Adjustments: Calendar adjustments are simplified and depend on the combination of process time, transportation time, and put away time.
▪ Added Show Total and Show Subtotal options on the Deployments container.
▪ Improved representation of the Child's Ending Inventory Position over time on Inventory Position Summary and Daily Detail IP report.
▪ Schedule Change Suppression Safety Stock and ROP Minimum / Maximum lines were added to the Time Series Graph.
▪ Time Series Grid calculates the Effective Ending On Hand Good more accurately to reflect the need of child locations.
▪ Reduced page load time.
◦ Order Explanation Report (13.1.0.1): Introduced a report to provide explanation of the sequence of decisions made during the
Generate Order Plan AutoPilot process for each day.
Pricing
◦ Part Kit Pricing: Upgrades to kit pricing include the use of all price buckets, incorporation of new component part prices, and a review reason to alert users of outdated part kit prices.
◦ Elasticity Estimation: Price Volume equation was updated to achieve more accurate estimation of elasticity along with other usability improvements.
General Usability
◦ Toolbar Improvements: The main toolbar on many of the pages was enhanced to improve workflow, accessibility, and readability.
◦ Go To Menu Improvements: Context specific linking with external applications, PAI dashboards, and Servigistics pages is now available on the Interactive Planner Worksheet, Forecast Review page, and Pricing Worksheet.
◦ Best Practice Workflows: A section called
Best Practice Workflows was added to the online help. This is where you will find step-by-step workflows for the common tasks that a user performs. More workflows will be added to this section in the next release.
◦ FAQs: A section called
FAQs was added to the online help. This is where you will find the beginning of a consolidation of frequently asked questions with links to the corresponding workflow. More entries will be added to this section in the next release.
Performance Analytics and Intelligence
◦ SKU Supply Chain History Dashboard: Several new fields and graph improvements were added to accurately analyze historical daily supply chain inventory balance, shortage, excess situations, and their root causes.
◦ ML Based Multivariate Forecasting: Any economic factor or non-demand based attribute can be used in addition to demand for time series forecast. Additional dashboard helps analyze the significant attributes impacting forecast.
◦ On-Premises ML Deployment: On-premises customers can utilize Servigistics ML functionality without the Data Science Workbench.
◦ Data Science Workbench: Upgraded to the latest version of Zeppelin to better support secure creation of custom use cases.
◦ Vendor Forecast: Added a new dashboard for vendor collaboration process to share Vendor capacity, Procurement and Repair Orders projection.
