workflows relating to Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP).
Since there are so many variables that can affect how you approach tasks, these workflows are general guidelines, or best practice recommendations. The intention of a sample workflow is to assist you with the generic tasks and guide you while you apply your business knowledge and experience to resolve the variable pieces. For example, a workflow step could be to order more inventory, but only you know if there are budget constraints, or inventory shortages, or transportation challenges that make ordering more inventory a complex step.
