Maintaining Tier Group Steps

You need to create steps for any qualitative attributes in your tier groups. If you are not using qualitative attributes in your tier groups, you can skip this step. You maintain the tier group steps on the Tier Group page's Steps tab.

To complete all calculated fields on this tab, you need to run the Tier Group OTF process.

On the Steps tab, you can create, modify, or delete steps for the selected tier group.
To create/modify tier group steps:
1. Do one of the following:
◦ To create a step, click the New icon

.◦ To modify a step, click the Edit icon 
for the step.

2. Click the Save icon 
on the page toolbar.

1. Click the View icon 
for the step. The Tier Group Step Level page appears. [view field definitions].

To delete tier group steps:
1. Select the tier group steps you want to delete.
2. Click the Delete icon 
. A window appears asking you if you are sure you want to delete the selected steps.
