Replacing the Intellicus Evaluation License File on a Windows Server
1. Create a case through the PTC eSupport Portal to obtain a new ReportEngine.lic file with a Servigistics_NewPro25Plus key.
2. Sign in to the server where Intellicus is installed.
3. Open the Component Services application and stop the Intellicus Report Server service.
4. Navigate to the <INSTALL_INTELLICUS_DIR> directory and delete the work folder.
5. Navigate to the <INSTALL_INTELLICUS_DIR>\ReportEngine\bin directory and do the following: to update the license key:
a. Rename ReportEngine.lic to ReportEngine.old.
b. Copy the new ReportEngine.lic license file provided by PTC to this directory.
6. Start the Intellicus Report Server service. [view instructions]
7. Enter the following into a browser to open the Intellicus portal:
http://<machine_name>:<port>/intellicus/
For example, http://localhost:90/intellicus/
8. Sign in to the Intellicus portal using the credentials for the Admin user. [view instructions]
9. Select Info on the menu bar to view the build version. Confirm that the build version is updated to the latest Intellicus version.
10. Proceed with the installation and configuration process as outlined in the Defining Intellicus Properties
