Replacing the Intellicus Evaluation License File on a Linux Server
1. Create a case through the PTC eSupport Portal to obtain a new ReportEngine.lic file with a Servigistics_NewPro25Plus key.
2. Sign in to the server where Intellicus is installed.
3. Navigate to the <INSTALL_INTELLICUS_DIR> directory.
4. Stop the Intellicus Report Server service. [view instructions]
5. For upgrades, navigate to the <INSTALL_INTELLICUS_DIR>/jakarta directory and delete the work folder. If this is the first time installing Intellicus, there is no work folder to delete.
6. Navigate to the <INSTALL_INTELLICUS_DIR>/reportengine/bin directory and do the following to update the license key:
a. Rename ReportEngine.lic to ReportEngine.old.
b. Copy the new ReportEngine.lic license file provided by PTC to this directory.
7. Start the Intellicus Report Server service. [view instructions]
8. Enter the following into a browser to open the Intellicus portal:
http://<machine_name>:<port>/intellicus/
For example, http://localhost:8080/intellicus/
9. Sign in to the Intellicus portal using the credentials for the Admin user. [view instructions]
10. Select Info on the menu bar to view the build version. Confirm that the build version is updated to the latest Intellicus version.
11. Proceed with the installation and configuration process as outlined in the Defining Intellicus Properties
