Planning Your PAI Advanced Installation on a Snowflake Platform
The Servigistics Performance Analytics and Intelligence application is built on top of a Snowflake shared data architecture. The platform consists of:
• Servigistics RDBMS Database as the data source
• Servigistics Autopilot Server as the Advanced Analytics Engine
• Snowflake Database as the data destination and source for Intellicus Dashboards and reports
The data flows from Servigistics to Snowflake and is available for analysis using Servigistics Intellicus Dashboards and Reports.
These are the steps in the logical workflow:
1. The Servigistics Autopilot process queries and extracts data from Servigistics RDBMS (Oracle or Sql Server)
2. The Servigistics Autopilot process generates temporary CSV files that house the extracted data
3. The Servigistics Autopilot process stages (copies) the CSV data into a Snowflake platform storage stage (area)
4. The Servigistics Autopilot process loads data from the Snowflake stage into Snowflake data tables and processes it
5. The Intellicus Server extracts data from Snowflake and builds Cubes in the Intellicus database.
6. The Servigistics Intellicus Dashboards and Reports access Snowflake data and Intellicus data for end-user analysis
