SIOP Plan
A SIOP Plan is an integrated, forward-looking operational and financial framework for a SIOP Business Unit that aligns demand, supply, inventory strategy, and revenue objectives into a single, executable forecast.
The SIOP Plans are managed on the SIOP Plans page, and can be progressed through the lifecycle by performing actions on the SIOP Plans page.

Prepare for Planning
Prepares the SIOP Plan by uploading data into Snowflake, running processes in Snowflake to build the Business Hierarchy, and aggregating the forecasts based on the Business Hierarchy.

When this action is run, one Forecast Scenario is created for each Department, and one Forecast Scenario is created for the Consensus Forecast activity.
• The Forecast Scenario for a department is named <Department Name> – Baseline
• The Consensus Forecast Scenario is named Consensus – Baseline
The only way to create a new Forecast Scenario is to copy an existing Forecast Scenario. If multiple Forecast Scenarios are needed, it is recommended to copy the baseline Forecast Scenario and only use the <Department Name> – Baseline scenario for creating new Forecast Scenarios.
