Scoring Analysis Workflow
Follow this suggested workflow to use Scoring Analysis.
1. Set the ENABLE_SCORING global setting to true.
2. Use the Custom Attributes page to create custom attributes with a Data Type of Float or Integer to be used with Scoring Analysis.
3. Assign the custom attributes created in the previous step as an attribute usage for at least one of the following:
◦ SKU
◦ Part
4. Use the Scoring Folders page to create scoring folders.
5. Use the Weights tab of the Scoring Analysis page to do the following:
1. Assign weights to the custom attributes.
2. Click to run the Scoring Analysis process. This process calculates the composite scores and each SKU is assigned to a Scoring Analysis Threshold Group according to its composite score.
6. Review the results.
1. Use the Composite Score tab of the Scoring Analysis page to review the results.
2. Use the Details tab of the Scoring Analysis page to review the details by SKU.
7. Manage the threshold groups.
8. Once scoring analysis has been completed, you can segment based on the results by creating segment coverages that are based on threshold groups.
When you create segments based on scoring analysis, do the following:
1. Set the Field to Threshold Group Name.
2. Set the Value to the scoring folder/scoring analysis threshold group.
*
If you change the composite score threshold values after assigning a threshold group to a segment, the SKUs will re-align. For instance, using the example above, assume the composite score threshold for EMEA Scoring Folder - Left Over was 800 out of 1,000 and it was changed to 900 out of 1,000. Any SKUs that had a composite score between 800 and 900 would no longer be included in this segment.
