The replenishment/balancing lead times allow different transport times to be modeled when calculating the time it takes for a replenishment order to move from one location to another. So, if one location has excess and replenishment orders are established to transport the excess elsewhere, Servigistics can model the fact that it takes a few days longer when shipping cross country.
