Price Stream Value
The actual price assigned to a SKU for a specific Price Stream.
• Each SKU can have up to 20 Price Stream Values
• Each Price Stream Value is assigned one Price Stream and has separate historical prices and demand history.

The assignment of a Price Stream to a Price Stream Value occurs during implementation. Contact your PTC Consultant for assistance or refer to the implementation documentation for information regarding your specific client configuration of Price Streams.

• A Price Stream Value can be used as a reference point for setting another Price Stream Value. For example:
◦ A Standard Price of $100
◦ A Dealer Net of $80 (20% off the Standard Price)
◦ A Distributor Net of $70 (30% off the Standard Price)
Changing Price Stream Values
There are two methods available to change the Price Stream Values of a Price Stream. However, when you perform an Advanced Price Streams Edit, you can perform analysis. You can see the changes to market data, revenue, and profits. When you perform a Simple Price Streams Edit, you are simply changing the price stream values with no analysis.
Method 1: Simple Price Stream Edit
Change the Price Stream Values and assign a new Price Effective Date for a SKU. This function is performed on the Stream Prices pop-up window.
Method 2: Advanced Price Stream Edit
Provides the same functionality as the Simple Price Stream Edit with the added feature of performing analysis.
