Lost Sales for a Covered SKU
This is a fill rate method that reflects the fact the customers do not wait for the backorders to be filled. Instead, they get their part from the emergency location. This results in a higher fill rate at the field location, because the part on order could be given to a different customer rather than the customer waiting for the backorder.
