LLP Maintenance – Smooth Forecast Method
A
forecast method that evaluates the raw need based on the scheduled maintenance, and then attempts to smooth it based on the capacity of the maintenance center.
• If the raw amount exceeds the capacity, then the excess amount is pulled back to previous slices.
• If there is not enough capacity to completely smooth out the excess, then the remaining excess is placed in the earliest forecast slice.
