ID (Identifier)
IdentifierID
An internal, system‑generated numeric value used to uniquely identify a record, such as a Part or Location, within the application. Unlike user‑visible fields, which may change over time, the ID remains constant and is used primarily for system operations, data integrity, integrations, and analytics. The ID fields are not typically shown to end users and do not carry business meaning on their own. They exist to ensure reliable referencing and linkage across the system.
