Global Settings — SIOP
A method of applying a configuration parameter at the system level. Global settings can be used to do the following:
• Enable or disable features
• Define limits and boundaries to sets of data
• Control parameters used during processing
These are a few of the more common global settings that apply to the SIOP module. Contact your Technical Support representative for assistance configuring global settings in your installation of Servigistics.
SIOP_VISIBILITY
Description
Determines if the pages associated with SIOP are included in the menu. Valid options are:
◦ true – The pages associated with SIOP can beincluded under the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning menu according to the user rights assigned.
◦ false – The Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning menu option is not visible in the menu and the features and functionality of using SIOP is not available.
