Global Settings — Modeling
A method of applying a configuration parameter at the system level. Global settings can be used to do the following:
• Enable or disable features
• Define limits and boundaries to sets of data
• Control parameters used during processing
These are a few of the more common global settings that apply to the Modeling module. Contact your Technical Support representative for assistance configuring global settings in your installation of Servigistics.
ENABLE_ESCM 
Description
Enables the following for the Modeling module:
◦ The Modeling menu item is visible.
◦ The Module tab on the User Rights Setup page is visible.
Valid options are:
◦ When set to true the Modeling module is enabled.
◦ When set to false the Modeling module is note enabled.
Default Value
false
How Used
This global setting is used with the Modeling module.
