Demand Outlier Analysis
Outliers are data points that differ markedly from other observations in a set of data, like unusually high or low values that do not follow the expected trend or pattern. Demand Outliers usually occur when there is an anomaly in a period of demand history.
Your business model may not want to factor the unusual high or low values into the forecast. Demand Outlier Analysis is a process that detects demand outliers and provides the flexibility for you to handle them in various ways, such as removing them, adjusting them, or even using a different Forecast Method that is less sensitive to outliers.
