Coefficient of Variation
A measure of dispersion of a probability distribution. COV is the ratio between the standard deviation and the mean of pipeline forecasts. The pipeline forecast variances can be capped through global settings with either COV or VMR caps for both high and low volume pipeline forecasts.
Commonly referred to as “COV” (Coefficient of Variation)
