SKU Forecast Production Adjustment
Indicates how SIOP forecast adjustments are applied to the production base forecast at the SKU-Stream level. These adjustments are initially moved to the production forecast when a SIOP forecast scenario is promoted to production through the Make Production process. Valid options are:
Fixed Quantity (Additive)
The SIOP adjustment is stored as a fixed unit quantity and remains unchanged when the production base forecast changes.
For example:
◦ Base forecast = 100
◦ SIOP adjustment = +20 units
◦ Resulting total forecast = 120 units
If the base forecast later changes to 150 units:
◦ SIOP adjustment = 20 units
◦ Resulting total forecast = 170 units
Fixed Percentage
The original SIOP adjustment is preserved as a percentage of the base forecast. When the forecast is recalculated, the SIOP adjustment is also recalculated using the same percentage against the latest production base forecast.
For example:
◦ Base forecast = 100
◦ SIOP adjustment = +10
◦ Resulting total forecast = 110
If the base forecast later changes to 150 units:
◦ SIOP adjustment =15 units (10% of 150)
◦ Resulting total forecast = 165 units
Start Date
