Manage Dashboard Access
The dashboards that a user can view in Performance Analytics and Intelligence can be managed through the Intellicus user interface. Use these instructions to configure dashboard restrictions for a user.
1. Open a browser and sign in to Intellicus as the administrative user.
2. Select Navigate > Design > Parameter Object from the menu on the left panel. The Parameter Object Editor tab opens in the work area.
3. Retain the selections that are populated by default and make the following modifications:

Enter the query that will fetch the values of the dimension field on the cube to be restricted
4. Click Verify to populate the Display Column and Value Column.
5. Click and select the directory location where the restriction will be saved.
6. Click Save.
7. Select from the menu on the left panel and select the Analytical Object to be restricted. The Analytical Object tab opens in the work area.
8. Select the dimension that corresponds with the dimension that the restriction parameter referenced to open a pop-up window.
9. Select the parameter you saved in step 5 from the Secure Using Parameter drop-down list.

11. Select Navigate > Administration > Manage Users from the menu on the left panel. The Manage Users tab opens in the work area.
12. Select the Organization tab and do the following:
a. Select the Servi row and click to open the Modify Organization pop-up window.
b. Select the Data Restriction tab and do the following.
a. Select the restriction parameter from the Parameters section.
b. Select the Restrict To Values option.
c. Select the fields to be restricted from the Available Values section and click the arrow to move the fields to the Selected Values section.
d. Click Save on the Modify Organization pop-up window.
13. Select the User/Role tab and do the following:
a. Click Servi to expand the list of defined users.
b. Select the user where the restriction applies and click the Data Restrictions button to open the Data Restriction pop-up window.
c. Select the restriction parameter from the Parameters section.
d. Select the Restrict To Values option.
e. Select the fields to be restricted from the Available Values section and click the arrow to move the fields to the Selected Values section.
f. Click Save on the Data Restriction pop-up window.
14. Verify the restrictions are in place by opening the Performance Analytics and Intelligence from the Servigistics main menu.
